Sorry for your loss. I lost my cat last year and there are times I get out of bed in the morning and still expect to see her on the living room floor.

Sorry to hear about your loss, JB - condolences, and RIP, Florence.


Some really lovely touching and funny photos in this thread, though, and it's a strange thing - we always know we're going to outlive our cats/dogs/other pets, but that's not the point. It's always worth the relatively short time we do get with 'em, which makes up for the sad part that inevitably comes at the end of it.

(certainly, considering how strongly pets bond with their owners, but have no notion of 'proportion' or 'context', I'd never, ever want for a pet to outlive their owner!)

  Just got home from the funeral home.My Uncle had passed away Friday.
First thing I see on the site is Joe Kubert and JB's cat had also passed.

I'm kinda bummed out right now....

 I'm sorry for your personal loss JB and that of your colleague.

I'm sorry about your loss Mr.Byrne. She must have been a lovely Cat. I always enjoyed reading about her here at the board.
