So very sorry. 

My cat, Tiger, died around 1997 and I haven't had the heart to get another since. For months afterward I made "phantom" movements -- like stepping over where her food bowl used to be, etc. -- my body had been trained to have her always around.

May you have only the best memories of Florence.

I am very sorry for your loss. Pets are just like a member of our families, and their loss can be just as painful as losing a family member.
