Once again, God bless you JB, may you live (and

Yes, Steve -- I had forgotten that the Beast was also depicted as prepubescently empowered.

Namor also had his ankle wings before puberty, right? That's part of what makes him a mutant,  as I understand it.

I’m mostly ignoring the “puberty rule” since just about everybody else has!

I've had my mutant powers as long as I can recall, I am uncannily visible in light and invisible when there isn't any. Also, astonishingly, I can take in oxygen and expel it as carbon-dioxide. But the best one of all is I can chew gum and walk, at the same time! It's a huge responsibility I know and I try not to look down upon the lesser humans.

I don't know where I was going with that to be honest, but anyway, really enjoying the story! Neat! :^)

Viewing count down @ 35. Does it reset the 1st of each month? Crazy

35 is the post count for THIS thread. The art thread has over 3800–which is still WAY down from the +78,000 it hit last week!!

I don’t recall who placed Xavier’s school in Westchester, NY, but I find that almost every time I name the county in my scripts I flash back to growing up in western Canada, where such references had no meaning to me. I recall an episode of KOJAK in which White Plains was mentioned, and it meant nothing. Now I routinely fly out of Westchester County Airport, which borders White Plains.

I was born on a Thursday, and the old verse tells us that meant I had “far to go.” Got that right!

Lee-Kirby, first issue, first panel: Westchester!

Being a native New Yorker, I loved know all the places.

Fun first issue! Very much looking forward to seeing how that cliffhanger plays out and any guest stars in any upcoming issues.
