I note this morning that the view count has dropped by a couple of thousand.

Gee, absolutely NONE of this had occurred to me!! Someone is being coy... LOL My other theory that Franklin Richards is pretending to be Jean seems much less likely :-)

Mr. Byrne: "Gee, absolutely NONE of this had occurred to me!!"
That's sarcasm, isn't it?
I surely don't know what goes on in your mind, Mr. Byrne, But as it slowly comes out, I am delighted to wait and watch. I am certain that you will disclose all the elements and story as they come into play. You ROCK, sir!

I surely don't know what goes on in your mind... And you dont want to! As Mike Mignola observed, its dark in there and your feet stick to the floor.

I didn't mean to imply the domestic concerns weren't shown, more that I might be a bit mundane for getting overly interested in that aspect. It's a plus to see such things reflected in a comic because often enough they aren't. It's very cool to know characters shop and have family concerns as well as having powers and all!

Kitty is fun again! Roger Stern used to say that one of the things he enjoyed about reading Spider-Man's adventures was that no matter how bad his, Rog's, day had been, Peter Parker's had been worse! Over the years/decades many writers seemed to forget that what makes that work is if it isn't doom and gloom ALL THE TIME.

Views of the art thread this morning have jumped to over 24,000--which seems more like it!--but what will they be tomorrow?

I thought for sure the win of this battle was going to be Kitty phasing through the Sentinel!

As a longtime fan of these characters, it is a joy to see them again - you capture their character through body language and dialogue better than I have seen in some time. But I confess my favorite part of this issue is seeing sentinels crash their way through a small town!
