Way to go, Kitty! Riding in the "flyer" with Kurt must have afforded her a different perspective of the fight - and back into the fray she heads, with devastating results for the Sentinel.
Speaking of "head," how about Kitty's response when Storm (removing her own head covering) tells her to "get under cover?"
Sprite does so (sort of) by putting on her hood.

Yeah, and I believe Kitty (Kat?) phased the evil limbo Nightcrawler's foot into the ground with rather painful results! And in X-men/Micronauts Kitty killed a guard by phasing him into a wall.
I noticed "poor" MODOK was simply stuck in "issue 1", and suffered no real physical damage, but I imagine he'd have trouble breathing if his whole head was actually in the wall! Which begs the question: how the heck can or will he free himself! Guy's got problems...

At the risk of appearing geeky...
In the spirit of contemplating Kitty's abilities: were she to encounter another character with similar powers of intangibility (e.g. The Vision) - do you envisage they would cancel each other out / enable them to physically interact whilst 'phasing/intangible'?

Kitty and the Vision operate in very different ways. Last time I looked, anyway, he becomes literally intangible, like a ghost. Kitty passes her atoms between those of otherwise solid objects.

JB, I believe your "hands" have reached a new level on that last page. I could feel Kitty reaching mid leap, and pulling down on the neck (collar?) of the Sentinel.

Is that sign on the ground a tip of the hat to Roger...? Loving this page-a-day serial, chief.

Is that sign on the ground a tip of the hat to Roger...?•• Sharp eyes! Yes, I have a "tradition" of STERN signage that goes back to the days when we were both just beginning to break into the Biz.

This is a wonderful comic experience - thank you John. I have not enjoyed a comic this much in a long time. Nice to see these characters being handled as they should.

BTW, I'll be posting two pages tomorrow, so we can wrap up the issue without it being broken by the weekend. But then, in order to establish a true "monthly" schedule, I won't start posting "issue 3" until the first Monday in August.
