I just noticed the group of civilians in panel 2 of page 19 is the same group scrambling for safety on page one. Nice touch, JB.

Outstanding. Great to see Sebastian Shaw back, awesome to think that the Hellfire Club goons and Wolverine may be lining up for round two, and I’m very keen to see how Shaw is going to build mutant-hunters that ignore him and the Club. This is just fantastic, chief.

Love that truck/command center interior. The art lessons are coming thick and strong.

This is the way Marvel comics used to feel like when I first fell in love with them. Characters would turn up you didn't know how much you loved or missed until they turned up. And it was brilliant and new and exciting every month.

WOWOWOWOW.... what a cliffhanger!!!!

JB, you're crafting quite the tale.... in two issues, I've been "swept back" to the times when reading UNCANNY X-MEN was a real treat. Always hoped you'd find a way to work on the Hellfire Club again!!

Question.... Angel was part of the team when you left the book - any plans for him to show up soon? Possibly with Hank and Bobby?

Damn, JB - I'M HOOKED!!

-C!

I like the fun of waiting a few days to read multiple pages. I thought I was going to be able to wait a month and then read everything at once- but who am I kidding?

I'm almost glad it's not going to print. I can imagine these pages finished in the ways of my youth. Not a huge fan of the "slick paper", and there's no doubt coloring is superior nowadays but I can wax nostalgic on letting the inker do the shading.

In the hands of the right colorists. Of which there are few.

I must add, I would certainly be all for an Artist's Edition!
...and even a Blue-Line Edition, since my printed copies are subpar.

I'm a little sad.

The previous 5 mornings I had my anticipation rewarded with a new page of issue 2. Sometimes my first visit of the day, to the forum, would be before the day's posting, which just added to my anxiousness. The reward was always more than I expected.

Now , Saturday is here and although the feeling of anticipation remains as strong, there is a great let down, knowing there will be no new page today.

I'm a little sad about how soon I want the weekend over with.
