Restoring Magneto to the Nazi-type Lee-Kirby created him to be would've been great!••• Even Stan got confused on that. Late in life he “remembered” that his “models” for Xavier and Magneto had been Martin Luther King Jr and Malcolm X. Uhm, no.

This is great!! I really like the reference to the Wen-Di-
Go story - it was our first glimpse at this fun
Wolverine/Nightcrawler dynamic, and this scuffle picks up
on that in a wonderful way.

Great art. The hallway in the mansion and the close-up of Wolverine's face being two noticeable highlights, but it all looks great. And a lot of fun.

One last Magneto moment: Chris at one time decided he wanted Magneto to be a Gypsy. Roger and I reminded him that was Doctor Doom’s schtick.(Can you imagine if he’d gone thru with it? How long would it have been before Doom and Magneto were “revealed” to be brothers!)
