It was one of the things that bugged me about the "real" timeline - in ROM and AVENGERS, [Gyrich] was at worst a stuffed-shirt jerk, but at the same time in X-MEN he was doing rabidly-anti-mutant, villainous things.

Another great issue!

And Magneto in next issue!
Can't wait to see him well handled. He's one of my favorite villains!

I just realize that the last time we saw him in this continuity he was resting after his defeat in the volcano!

Magneto & the Sentinels are amongst my favorite X-Men villains. 
I couldn't be more happy.
So far, i enjoy what i read and see.
The part with Sean and Moira is maybe what i liked the most in this issue.
And also the page inside the house of Alex and Lorna, where the Sentinel grabs her. Very spectacular.
The new characters, the mother and her child, will make a good addition to the cast of this book, i like the idea of them living at Xavier's Manor. 
The human and sensitive aspect of this book can only take advantage of something like that.
I also like today's page and the part played by Shaw in all this.
