I appreciate that Stornoway art on behalf of those Scots. And I got the same seaside feelings and senses upon looking at this page. Just a pure delight.
Madrox looks GREAT! can't wait for him (them?) to enter the story.
I also find I really appreciate the occasional narrators comments, as Stan used to do (and maybe Roy?) I don't remember who else used this, but I don't know how long it's been since I felt like a True Believer!
And you, sir, have broken my wife's heart. I have fallen in love with that Scots lass in the third panel. I saw her with color, inks, and everything. For a non-character, she's GORGEOUS! Please write my wife and tell her I'm just plain nuts and there's no one else. She won't believe me...
Maybe if I get her to start reading these stories...? She does appreciate good comics, even if still a novice...

Checking Madrox's reading order, looks like the last time I seen him in a new story was UXM #129....till now!
I haven't missed a thing!

I love Madrox!!! Is it my imagination or in the last panel, Mr.Byrne has deleted a Madrox figure? Also I'm very intrigued with what mutant prisoners may be in Muir Island! I think lately, the X-Men haven't have any occasion to "make" prisoners and bring them there. Too busy abroad (Savage Land, Japan, Canada,...) and then, the Proteus Saga and the Dark Phoenix Saga. So I see no possible prisoners!

Manuel - if the sentinels are involved in this - and it surely seems that they are - then there's the batch that were caught by the sentinels the first time. There's Havok, Polaris, Nightcrawler, Banshee, Sunfire, Northstar, Aurora, and that's not even counting villains.
I wonder if Professor X and/or the X-Men are actually the ones who retrieve "outlaw" mutants for processing at Muir Isle. I've never really thought of the X-Men in that role, nor do I recall seeing them do it in a book.

On the writing front, I think my favorite part is "hearing" your take on Wolverine, after all these years!

A word of praise for how complete the art is in terms of creating a convincing milieu. It reminds me a little of the convincing environments that Hergé would create for his Tintin tales.
