I wish that the Beast had never been transformed and I wish he'd be turned back. Because of that, I love how Hank's face comes through in that final page 2 panel. The real McCoy!

That was something that started working its way into my drawings of the Beast after HIDDEN YEARS. After all, I reasoned, becoming "blue" and furry does not necessarily indicate a major restructuring of facial bones.An attempt was made. with the launch of X-FACTOR, to de-fur the Beast but, alas, it did not take. The blue Beast had been around longer than the original, and was deemed the "real McCoy" by most fans.

The engineer in me is really liking the inner view of the Sentinel's body -nice!
And all the marvel brains working that Sentinel is pretty awesome too. Only one missing would be Hank Pym, but considering his robot history that may be for the best...

Avengers, FF, and X-Men all on the same case is quite a
sight to see! It's a joy to see them together, while at the
same time it relates the gravity of the sitaution. This is
the kind of ordeal that would bring them together.
And that's really cool to know about Hank's face! I've
always been partial to furry Beast, but a lot of his better
stories are when he is depicted in his human form. So this
is a great intersection.

That first panel is an instant modern classic. I've said it before, but I'll say it again: so much fun!!
Love Reed, always cool to see the classic Iron Man and nice writing from his perspective to describe Sprite's powers that way.
