I like how you always perfectly capture the
idiosyncratic features that make each character
individual, such as Beast's claws when he is holding
Cyclops down.
The shadow in the penultimate panel is nicely
threatening and the face of the sentinel in the ultimate
panel is sooo Kirby.

A bit of trivia for today's page:I worked out the full span of Jean's story months ago, and drew six pages of her continuity separate from the rest. So this page was actually drawn a couple of months before I started on the issue as a whole. I've done this before, drawing scenes in advance and out of order so they won't spend excessive time churning around in my skull, and possibly become stale by the time I get to them.

Huh, it's just dawned on me, these stories are going the route of Westworld and The Witcher. I knew they were not occurring at the same time but my brain has just lumped the three worlds together as using the 'telling stories together that occur in different time periods' structure.

using the 'telling stories together that occur in different time periods' structure. Yes, something I've done at least once before, years before the shows you mention. Unlike WESTWORLD, tho, I've been telling the readers all along that was happening in this story.

The door at that bar is against Fire Code; very unsafe in the case of an
emergency.

The door at that bar is against Fire Code; very unsafe in the case of an emergency. One thing being the son of a city planner/architect planted in my brain is "doors open outwards on public buildings". Unless the drama of my story requires otherwise! (Looking at that bar, I suspect the door is the very least of their violations!)

I've just got to say this work is absolutely amazing.I've had it drummed into me through my career working for large multinational companies that feedback should be constructive and actionable and simple comments like good are "disposable". My comment of "this work is absolutely amazing" doesn't tell you why it think its great and what specifically you've done.
That said, the quality of the art and the dynamics of the story make it very, very difficult to not pine for the next page almost at every turn.
