Seeing the X-Men teaming up with the Avengers and FF is a treat that exceeds my lofty expectations for this story.
Thanks for bring Marvel back for us, JB - I've missed these folks!

Today's page keeps up the action nicely, despite a "wrap up" page, thanks to Ben being Ben!
Going through the pages, I had to stop on Sue grabbing Cyclops by the arm and charging in. A reminder that Sue is more than hiding behind a force field, and that Cyclops is indeed a team leader that commands respect. Dang, I love this stuff!

I was also looking at that page and liked the observation by Cyclops that turning invisible was disorienting. I imagine it would be!

I like that too. Its not easy! A favorite scene from Green Lantern: Rebirth was when Green Arrow tried to use the ring Hal left for him and he fizzled an arrow. "Is it always so hard to use the ring?!?"

"Squinty!" I like that. I love the nicknames the Thing dishes out.

Shortly after Sue's powers were expanded to include force fields and making things other than herself invisible, she used the latter on Doom, with a disorienting effect.

Sue steps up again! This issue has been a great deal of fun for many reasons, especially for Sue Richards fans. She has been a key figure at critical moments and has done so without instruction from Reed. Few writers handled or developed Sue as well as you, JB. Thanks!

Few writers handled or developed Sue as well as you, JB. •• For which, much thanks! When I took on the FF, Sue was the closest to a "blank canvas" in the group. There had been much floundering around by male writers who seemed unable or unwilling to give Sue her due. As I took delight in pointing out, her range of powers really made her the most powerful on the team.
