Wolverine's hair is a superpower unto itself.Red Ghost definitely looks better with the "handlebar/wraparound" look he had from the start.

Speaking of Wolverine...Read THIS and see how many mistakes you can count--both by the writer of the article and by Marvel. (Couple to start you off: it was Dave Cockrum who first showed us Logan's face, and I was the one who suggested a connection with Sabretooth.)

This article was painful. Clearly the research for it amounted to "I kind of remember".

Love how this second page increases the feeling that it's the opening of a What If...? but we know it's more than that. Always like how you show the Watcher's face in that middle panel.

I like the "controls" for the display the Watcher is viewing. How they function is beyond the understanding of mere mortals such as we!

I also just noticed how the thick black border of the display screen was added to the following five panels.
Nice touch, JB.

Typically brilliant!
I've never seen The Watcher's "What-If?" time incorporated in "real-time" before. What a simple, fertile idea.

RE: "Red Ghost and the Super Apes, table for four."
Surprisingly, I don't recall seeing that 'Marvel Milestone' page before - in what title was it published please?

James J: "Now for my head to spin even more.... I guess the events of X-MEN 137 (In Marvel Time) would be something that this Watcher would view in an alternate reality.
With ELSEWHEN, I can now view X-MEN 137 (and all X-MEN stories) as WHAT IF???? tales."
*****
This is what is making this so much fun for me as well!
I know of the two big instances where The Watcher showed up for an event that is in "reality" (accepted continuity) - the death of Phoenix and the first approval of Galactus. Are these the only times he has appeared to observe something big? Every other time I have seen him, he is presenting alternate realities.
And because he shows up at these big events, does that open the door that they were alternate realities? Or does Watcher see multiple realities?
