Is drawing all the feathers on Angel a Zen moment or tedious?•• YES!!

The panels with Angel's wings flapping and battering Nightcrawler are a wonderful example of your layout/storytelling design expertise. The constant changes in perspective and layout keeps everything fresh.
Brilliant artistic choices.

Wow, another great page today. I've never even thought of Angel using his wings offensively like that.
It's been said many times but thanks again to JB for doing this and sharing it with us. I look forward to it every weekday morning.

Three months ago today, alt-A boasted "my sword is at full force" -- and in the next frame it was knocked out of his hand and into the air by Scott's blast. At the time I wondered to myself if JB's plan was for it to strike one of the alts on its way down. I'm now glad that it didn't ... the wait for today was well worth it. What a great page!
Not sure whether anyone has mentioned it, but the Kurt/alt-A battles have such a nice ironic aspect: the "angel" is the "demon" and vice versa.

It took me a moment to figure out what was going on there, because I had never thought of Angel's wings as a weapon before*, but it does make sense in this context.
*Not before Walt's version of Archangel, anyway

Also... Kudos for the clarity of those first five "long" panels, JB. I immediately read it as Kurt being battered by Wicked Warren's wings.

Wonderful fight choreography between Kurt & Warren. The posing in the final panel of today's page is perfect - was it a challenge to figure out Kurt's pose to issue the 'coup de grace'? You can't have drawn many like that over the years! :-)

Love when new uses of old characters powers is done. You think every idea is used up then you see a page like this. Nice.
No need to rip off his wings and replace with metal ones, no need to have glowing red claws, etc. Just work with what is established and logical as an extension of already existing powers. Kurt grabbing the sword and bending in ways that no regular human could do fits too. What fun to read.
