The “creation” process grows more and more attenuated.

At a con, decades ago, Chris mentioned he’d created a new character he intended to call “Psycho”. The premise was a mutant with MPD, with each of his personalities having a different power.

As it happened, I’d had the same idea, only I’d dubbed my guy “Legion”, invoking the Biblical quote “My name is Legion, for we are many.”

I thought Legion was a more user friendly name than Psycho, and told Chris he could take it if he wished. Which he did.

So, am I a co-creator of Legion?

(Hint: I don’t think so.)

Not me, certainly. You seem to be misunderstanding the degree of my involvement. Which is, not surprisingly, how confusion over acts of “creation” often arises.
