Would that be the "Tab" comment, JB?

Yes. One of a multitude of things that would raise my hackles every time someone referred to our “collaboration”.

Barnes & Noble has a pre-order for a signed edition of the first volume.

Mr. Byrne, is this legitimate?

Sprite came from me. Read Chris’ dialog from the debut of the name, and see if you can spot how subtlety he indicates he doesn’t like it.

Just found THIS.

Astonishing. Nowhere have I said my breaking off from ELSEWHEN was due to health issues or “writer’s block”.

sigh

That's what you get for mentioning a cardiologist appointment one time.

Found an online comment referring to ELSEWHEN as “old fanfic”.

Curious. Altho the work definitely began as fanfic, I am not sure how “old” could be applied.

Interesting - can a work be truly dubbed 'fan fic' if produced by an at-the-time (and thereafter) lauded 'official' contributor? It's ordinarily trawled out as a derogatory term - but in this case: Is it fiction? Definitely. Is it 'fan-produced'? Well, one would like to think that the author/artist's history with the title would result in him being a 'fan' of those characters. So, again, a presumptive 'yes'. But to use the traditionally derogatory label in this instance is both lazy and inappropriate, IMHO.

“Fanfic” is “traditionally derogatory”?
