JB, the hands you drew on this page are just... WOW. I'm specifically talking about Teri's hand in the middle panel and in the lower left panel (double WOW). Ashley's stone hand in the last panel is well done, too.

Time once again to quote Al Milgrom, who said there is no excuse for drawing hands badly, since most people have at least one on the end of each arm!

Thank you again for doing this, JB. This is really top notch, excellent work.
I haven't been able to post replies for a while on my iPad, so this is a bit dated, but I love what you've done with Wolverine's healing ability wiping out his memories. It reminds me of when you mentioned an origin for Wolverine that you said you thought of at one point, where Wolverine's healing factor works on everything except his bones. He eventually gets so damaged that his bones are completely useless, so the Canadians give him Adamantium bones. I'd imagine having a metal skull implanted might cause enough brain damage to lead to memory loss as well.

Love your detail of Nightcrawler.
On to another subject..
It's been well over a year (a president trying to get get dirt on a candidate, impeachment talks,... what's a Covid-19?) and we still haven't a clue on what happened to Amanda.
That's what I call suspense.

…we still haven't a clue on what happened to Amanda. •• Splash page of next issue. You'll find out the same time Kurt does! (More of a confirmation, really,)

JB, seeing you draw Nightcrawler out of costume during Elsewhen makes me wish he just wore trunks. I don’t think I’ve seen his fuzzy, but not furry, surface ever drawn better. Big thumbs up on implying quite a bit of imagery with a few pencil lines.

…seeing you draw Nightcrawler out of costume during Elsewhen makes me wish he just wore trunks.•• Ah, but there we have the same problem as is presented by Wolverine's face. When Dave swapped Logan into Fang's maskless costume, I immediately saw it as a mistake. When a character has as interesting a face as Wolverine, we really don't want it exposed all the time. Then it becomes ordinary. Same with Kurt. (Confession: creeps me out to draw Nightcrawler without gloves on.)

I think that is a testimony to realness of the drawing.

“ creeps me out to draw Nightcrawler without gloves on”That made me laugh. I understand what you mean about using this look sparingly. It is cool to see Kurt has his own look that isn’t smooth like Scott, hairy like Logan or furry like Hank.
