Got two new pieces over the weekend at the convention in my hometown: Bob Layton http://www.comicartfans.com/GalleryPiece.asp?Piece=944711&am p;GSub=136640 Ian Churchill http://www.comicartfans.com/GalleryPiece.asp?Piece=944707&am p;GSub=136639 Awesome renditions of The Spirit and these guys never drew him before! I've always love watching artists draw characters they are not known for.

Brian, those are great pickups! Personal favorites of Huntress & Crimson Avenger.
Lloyd, another winner. Really can't lose with the combo of Phantom Stranger & Aparo!

SHHHH-weet Aparo page!Reminds me once again, this time with a tinge of sadness, of Roger Stern's brilliant idea that the Stranger and Terry Thirteen were one and the same.

Very nice page Lloyd. (that statement never gets old) Lots of mood, razor cuts and dazzling shadows. Who could ask for anything more?

This piece is Eddy Barrows' character study for the Flying Graysons' killer in the new DC Universe.Love the detail and realism he adds to each piece he pencils.
