Pardon my meandering thoughts...
When I was a kid, Marvel seemed like a big happy family filled with employees who liked and respected one another and had fun producing the terrific tales we loved. Whatever may have been going on inside the company, a positive feeling of mutual respect and teamwork is what was projected.
Over the years, that fantasy has been dispelled as the curtain is pulled further and further aside (and all but yanked off) to reveal a reality that isn't quite so sunny.
Now I’m certainly not saying I’d prefer to live in a fantasy world, but it would be wonderful to feel like some of that joviality had returned.

Wallace's post(s) is excellent, and I appreciate the sentiment. (regardless of the contrast between our posts where I call a guy a douche and Wallace is all feel-goody!)

Hi all! I've just joined this thread all so I can throw my hat into the ring. I have always wanted the chance to ink JB and when I saw these awesome pencils, well, I just HAD to give it a go! I think this elsewhen story is really awesome and exciting. I'd like to ink more pages (just for the sheer coolness of it!) but its a little hard to see the pencils once I print them out. Is there any way I could get a little higher rez so I could do more? JB, thanks for doing this! I've been a long time fan of yours. I tried to get on an assignment with you over the years at DC (where I have done most of my inking assignments) but it never came to be! So, this is me scratching one off the bucket list!!

I TOTALLY want to. I'm just wondering if anyone knows how I could get a little higher rez pencils? I've been printing them out to ink but they are really hard to see. I'm down to ink the whole thing!!

I see the internet commentary has already taken a turn into exaggerated and inaccurate descriptions of this Forum. We're "weird" it seems. I wonder if any of those posters own mirrors.

John Stanisci, from what I can see of the work you've done............... the finer details are lost at the reduced image size...........OUTSTANDING job! Do you have a website of your own that has a pic at a higher resolution.......i'm anxious to see it in a bit more detail......... alot of what you had to tackle on that page, Kitty's hair, the foliage are very interpretive and I think you handled those aspects really well. My only critique, from what I can see, are the "thickish" speed lines, mostly from panel 4, I could maybe see those being toned back a bit thinner, but thats just an individual preference. Nicely done man.

These pages are so solid! It probably helps the quality too when you enjoy what you're doing and people are definitely enjoying it just watching each page appear!
Nice work in difficult circumstances Mr. Stanisci! Some reminds me of Joe Sinnott on Mr. Byrne.

Dusty and Rebecca, thank you so much! I really appreciate the nice word. Dusty, I will try to post a higher rez of the inks on my fb page, but probably not till tomm or so. I'm going to try to make time to ink more of these glorious JB pencils around my work schedule during this week. Thanks again!
