That has long been a concern for people regarding EVs. I'd characterize it as "dramatically overblown." Tesla's charging stations are everywhere and have only increased their accessibility since I bought my Model 3 eight years ago, and last I knew they are usable by non-Tesla EVs if you have the right adapter.
For perspective, longest road trip I've taken was in 2019 when I drove to Indianapolis, from Toronto, then back home after a few nights stop in Chicago. Zero issues with keeping the car charged on that trip, particularly because we timed stops with lunch/dinner breaks.
