Long time reader, first time poster. My first Mr Byrne comic was his first Uncanny X-Men and I fell in love with the artwork.

I have all the CMFC except the green Quicksilver. I was inspired to post because of the repaints recently. Here're mine.

Thanks Ryan... really enjoyed your Canadian pov over at the SHFF. Sorry for taking so long to sort the pic.

Yeah, I was about to bitch about the blue on Cyclops and Angel, but the Angel customization is just amazing!! And I LOVE Dark Phoenix's wide phoenix symbol. I was to scared to ruin it and left it small in mine, which is wrong...
Cyclops I would still prefer black-yellow, though.

Great work on the figures, all!

Other than that, I'm quite surprised at the size difference between the chess pieces and the lead figurines. I would have thought they'd have been roughly the same scale (as rough as the Eaglemoss scale actually is, anyway), but those are some pretty substantial figures for the chess series. They're just metal, not lead, so maybe the cost issue to make them bigger isn't there?

They look nice though. I'd consider a set, though I'd be hard pressed to decide which of the many sets to get between these and the upcoming DC series.

Cyclops was one of my first repaints, before I was really educated about the blue/black thing on this forum. I'll add him to my next repaint list, along with a chromed Silver Surfer. :)
The large Phoenix symbol was surprisingly straightforward, even with the chestal regions to manoeuvre around, so to speak.
The only naff bit of the Angel repaint IMO was the black edge of the belt... a devil to paint, or in my case to draw. I should've taken beta blockers to do that justice. ;)

I'm usually a purist and imagine I would vote for red as Elektra's "real" costume but she sure looks good in black.

I know it's been posted a few times, but I've gone back quite a few pages and haven't found this.  What online sources in the US are you guys buying these from other than Midtown (and eBay)?  The selection there is small these days and I want to get an Enchantress and a couple others from last year that they are out of.  Thanks.
