Yup. Also added white temples to Dr Strange and one or two other fiddly
bits on other characters.

Black Spider-Man was missing a lot of paint on his outstretched hand as well.

I fixed mine with a black marker.

Thanks to Gerry for the drawing of the back of Dr. Strange's head, so I could get the white hair correct.

The one that caused me the most trouble was Elektra. Her sais got bent a bit.

As to my favourite, probably the rooftop Black costume Spider-man as the pose is so right.

Just a tip....

I bought the Black Spider-man on the roof top,but he seems extremely top heavy. Just the slightest bump and he'd fall over on his outstretched hand. So, after keeping him in his box for a week, I had an idea today. I'd make a wide base to prevent him for toppling over. I took a scrap piece of 1/4" foam board and placed the figurine on top. I scored around the figure lightly with a zacto knife. Then I made the final cut slightly inside the scored line. Since the hole is slightly smaller than the figure's base I wiggled it in for a snug fit. To prevent him from falling forward, I left a large amount foam core on the front. Now, it seems much more stable. I also made another larger base for Doctor Strange who already fell over once and chipped the top of his collar. You can get solid black foam core at most art stores if you want to match the black base better.

Next week on DIY, teach your 6 year old how to cut the grass so, you'll have more time to watch football!!

John, I'll need to repaint my Spider-Man at some point as well. May I ask what you used, and any tips for not "coloring outside the lines" so to speak?

I was just going to leave well enough alone, but your touched up version looks terrific.

In fact, I used one of the PITT brush pens! A Sharpie would probably do the
trick, too.

To stay inside the lines ---- alas, there is no "tip" there other than "be
careful".

Thanks. I do have a black Sharpie lying around. Time to get cracking.

ARGH! I just bought Dr. Doom on eBay and pre-ordered Spider-Woman, Mr.
Fantastic, Yellowjacket, and Cyclops from Midtown Comics.

When the DC figurines are available, my wallet is doomed! Doomed, do you
hear?!?

OK, after finding Bullseye at my LCS this weekend, getting a ton of figurines from Ryan that I couldn't find (thanks again, Ryan!!), and two shipments this past week from Midtown, I think I'm finally caught up with the figurines that have been released in the US with the exception of the Green Hulk.  Whew!  Now it's just getting figurines I want as they're released.

I think it's always interesting to see how people display them.  Here's my ever-growing collection:

Top of my roll top desk wide shot:

From left to right, The Avengers and Spider-Man/Black Cat:

The X-Men (worry not, when Cyclops is released, he'll be leading the team!):

The Villains (yes, I consider White Queen a villain):

Finally, The FF and Defenders/Loners:
