Just looked at the price of the Lego AT-AT with 6785 pieces... Cripes, that is expensive.

I’ve done some gluing of bigger Lego sets. With some of them it’s necessary.

Speaking of large sets, there's this 10,001 piece Eiffel Tower coming out on Black Friday.

JB: how goes the At-At? I'm always entertained by your descriptions of the process. Sorry my entertainment comes at your frustration. ;-)

I would assume you would have to take it one piece at-at a
time?

Spent the last two days assembling the “head”. Unfortunately LEGO’s policy of using existing pieces means the seams don’t close completely. Leaving me to explain that’s how it comes, not because I did a shoddy job putting it together.

Finished the AT-AT. I’ll post some pics next time I’m in the Studio.

I see LEGO in just a few days is releasing a five foot Eiffel Tower…..

10,000 pieces. Might tax even my OCD!

Congrats on the AT-AT.  I cant imagine any problems with a 5 foot towwer requiring 10,000 pieces. I'm sure it will just snap together with no troubles. ;-)

Definitely passing on la Tour Eiffel. That way lies madness!

This leaves me with nothing to actually occupy my time, at present.

No suggestions, thank you!!

Just spent an hour clicking thru this thread, starting on page 500.

SO MUCH STUFF!!!

And a reminder that my Bombshell Hawkgirl fell from the ceiling a while back and shattered. A replacement is more than I am willing to spend.

boo hoo
