Here's my new Thing statue beside my JB original of same. I bought the statue as it reminded me a bit of the pose JB drew.

Taking a break from ELSEWHEN inking, I have returned to the land of LEGO, specifically to the Artemis kit I actually started before I embarked upon the inking. It’s an impressive model, quite large, tho a smaller scale than their Apollo/Saturn V. One thing putting it together, I was struck by how old fashioned it looks, almost like something from before Apollo.

Wolverine FigureImpressive at a glance, but falls down on the details. Did get my version of the mask, tho. No, I haven’t purchased it.

ARGH! Claws longer than the forearms! Even when it's done for artistic license it annoys me, but on an actual figure, no way.

Watched a speed build of the new huge LEGO Deathstar, on YouTube. Noticed for the first time that it includes the Emperor’s throne room—which, of course, was not ON the Deathstar. They don’t know me at all!!!

I always thought that the Emperor, Vader and Luke were ALL on the Deathstar 2.0 during the battle of Endor.... or are you saying that there was no Emperor's throne room on the ORIGINAL DEATHSTAR?
