You'd think that somewhere in the many steps of design and sculpting, someone would have realized a 3D Doom cannot fold his arms, as he does so easily in a drawing, and reconsidered the pose!

I can only guess that the sculptors "think" that they are giving the fans what they want. Sometimes it just don't work.

Just cause I post them, doesn't mean I like them.

My desktop Axis of Evil grows slightly larger. Just picked up a LEGO Indiana Jones set and decided to keep the two bad guys with my Minimate Cylon and Donald Duck Stormtrooper.

Looking at the way they rendered the device inside the mouth of Doom's mask -- sort of like some kind of inverted buck teeth -- I am reminded of my annoyance when I saw the printed splash page of "This Land is Mine!" A scrap of paper had evidently fallen upon the black plate, and given Doom an Ollie Dragon style serpentine tooth.   "Thith Land ith Mine!"

It looks like Doom's mask took a face-full of Joker's laughing gas. Man, that stuff affects armor too? Tony Stark better watch out, or he's gonna look real silly at the next Avengers meeting!
