Bowen Designs just posted a ton of Sneak Peeks, POLLs, Opinion Threads, etc...

Includes a new Adam Warlock, Arnim Zola(!), Hydro-Man and a lot of other cool stuff! I'll post pics when I have more time...

ARRGHHH!!!!! No-ohhhh!

I am thrilled Randy is doing Arnim Zola, one of my all-time favorite funky villains --- but his "face" is supposed to be a TV screen! Not three dimensional!!

ARRGGHHH!!!!!

One of the comments says "Waiting to see the 'screen' effect once the cristal be over the face" so maybe it will end up with more of a TV screen look.

Can't imagine how! Zola's "face" should be flush with his "chest". The version in the picture clearly protrudes.

Any crystal or window covering would just give it the effect of "head in a jar" as far as I can imagine.

Move along these aren't the droids you are looking for.

...  What?

Hmmm... I think somebody just used a "Jodi mind-trick" on me...  ;)

Getting back on topic, that Zola reminds me more of TOTAL RECALL's Quatto with that 3-D face!

Every once in a while I go to DC Direct and see cool things I hadn't before, like this Tom Mandrake Spectre:

I never care for the base on these things, but I'm digging this Superman. One of the few representations where he doesn't look like an over-beefed meathead.

I have that Spectre statue & it's quite nice. My only beef is that you can see his sideburns inside the hood -- I always pictured the ghost as being bald.
