Nice.  I still have my eye on this, from the recent LEGO Slave-1 redo:

That icecube tray looks a lot like a computer model. Compare the texture and lighting to this piece I did a few years back. . .

Well, Kotobukiya did have the trays on display at the New York Toy Fair, but I do see your point about the way the ones on the CollectionDX website look:

Neat model, JB!

That ice tray looks pretty cool.  Surprised no one had made one before now.

I remember as a kid I'd freeze my action figures in
plastic cups. Not just Star Wars figures, but just about
all of them. I would then slowly watch them thaw under
some kind of lamp or warm water. Later on, I learned that
MANY kids did this same very thing growing up during the
period of my generation. The Empire Strikes Back casted
along shadow indeed...

Love the computer model, it has a steampunk look to it.

The Han ice tray is just too nice to resist.

Not bad! I could live without the articulation, but she'll do!

I have the Star Sapphire statue on order. It is based on the art of Amanda Conner.

The Han Solo ice cube tray is pretty sweet. I may have to buy that.

Me too! It's been so long since I had the time to do any serious modeling, I have forgotten most of the techniques! This is the danger, I suppose, when something becomes second nature, so I don't have to think about it. When I DO have to think about it, it's not there!
