Inspired by JB's series of commissions for Paul Greer, the gorgeous "Spider-Foes" set of commissions. (My fave set of commissions that I don't own!)
Here is Kevin Maguire's take on Spider-Man and the first three of his foes, for me.

Defenders, by Rudy Nebres.  Mr. Nebres recently turned 85, but he's still drawing daily!

Nice Maguire's Mike. Did you set them up prior to the con?
Amazing Rudy, each time I see him he doesn't age.

Got this at Free Comic book day up in Newtown CT, Cave Comics, where Jerry Ordway was doing an in-store signing.  It was a nice ride from NJ, nicely set up store, with a good selection of back issues.

Hey Peter, yeah they're cool, indeed!

Brian - thanks for sharing your Golden Age Superman commission!
It looks great :) Jerry's drawing as well as ever.
For the Kevin Maguire commissions, no it wasn't prior to a convention.
Simply arranged via email, and he mailed them to me, here in Australia.

Cheers!

I don't buy much artwork anymore, but Uko Smith has a deal on his Etsy right now for his two newest art collection books, with a 5x7 watercolor headshot of your choice. The price was right, and I couldn't be happier. I also ordered this less than 5 days ago, shipped from Ohio to California.

The Captain Marvel, thank you very much.

Went to the Garden State Comic Fest last weekend in Morristown, NJ. Always a good medium show, has a nice selection of artists and dealers. You always feel you got your monies worth. I went specifically to see Walter and Louise Simonson and Howard Chaykin.
