Dagnabit. I'm still waiting for my Batman and Superman to be delivered. They are now well overdue.

I have to force myself to remember sometimes that what is an iconic character to me i.e discovered as a kid between 1976 and 1979 (in otherwords pre-existing characters) is not going to be the same for younger fans. Doomsday is I would guess around 15 years old now. To a lot of 25 year olds etc he is an iconic character that deserves his place in this DC line.

Including Doomsday in this series (especially this soon) is the equivalent of
the Marvel series having done the Beyonder some time within the first dozen
or so figures.

The thing is though I guess is that Doomsday was the prime character in a huge DC hullabaloo all those years ago and has appeared in comics again since. He also of course was in the new Superman cartoon Doomsday. I do agree though that it is to soon.

All of those things are true of the Beyonder too. He was the star of a major Marvel thingiwhatzit, has appeared since (as recently as last year, if memory serves), and was even in a cartoon.

Well, in theory I OWN those, if I don't actually HAVE them.

So I hate you slightly less than usual.
