Andy - Yeah, that's how Doc Savage was depicted by Marvel . DC did him with a more 'caucasian' skin-tone. He looks cool, and I also recognised him as Doc Savage straight away. 

Thanks for the confirmation.  Ironically, someone just posted a better scan of the same picture and the colors seem more accurate.  Enough that it actually looks like Doc now.

Nice one Frank i have a reprint of that story in colour, Nice to see it in b/w form do you have the next part?
