And another, based on a J.M. Flagg sketch of his model and muse, Ilse Hoffman.  I bumped into it on James Gurney's art blog and liked the retro hair-style.

Noses are my profile nemesis!  Easily 3/4 of the time of spent on this today was her snoz!


Maybe Ilse could have posed for Wonder Girl?

Love that SQ!!



A friend and Cancer survivor asked me to help with a tattoo
for her back. She wanted a Phoenix. I knew exactly what I
would do, but I'm unsure if it's appropriate. I'll be doing
some woodshedding before we get to the final piece.
