Hrm...getting a Starbrand feeling there with the fraction bit (10% of infinity back then).  Regardless, the idea that the Phoenix power can be split is good and Marvel did it a few years back iirc (giving it to pretty much all of the X-Men at the time).  I'm sure this will be a much better story than that one though.  No Scott killing Prof X.  As a planetary leader (multiple planets) one would expect Lilandra's will to be extremely strong thus able to do stuff others couldn't especially given she is fighting for control with a brain damaged copy of a person.

Wouldn't know. Haven't seen the inside of an X-Men comic since the last time I was drawing one.

That was a really neat way of making Lilandra's head looking like a charging bird's in the last panel!

JB: Can't blame you for not seeing the inside of an X-Men comic since you last drew one - no real reason to as I only read friends copies (they can read my copies of other stuff) just to see where it is at and if the latest 'hot' writer/artist/whatever has an interesting idea with them.  Now and then they do but often it just goes back to reminding me of why I stopped buying it decades ago.  Saved a lot of money that way too.

Looking forward to where this all goes over the coming months (figuring this isn't the last issue or you'd have probably told us all here).

You seemed to have toned-down Jean's "bird" in this incarnation.

Sure...
