I'm just now discovering John Van Fleet. I recently saw a post on Twitter of his X-Flies work and was surprised that I hadn't come across his work sooner.

He drew some Clive Barker books in the early 90s, Typhoid for Marvel, and several Batman mini-series. According to his website, he also works in video games, movies, and book illustration.

I just received his Batman: Ankh miniseries. Haven't read it, but it's pretty.
