So many of the Civil Rights leaders of the 60s were young men. Both MLK and Malcolm X, assassinated before they were 40.

I believe has was the last person alive on that balcony to see MLK get assassinated on that fateful April 4 morning.

The Rainbow Coalition did much for the poor and underprivileged.

Seeing him on Sesame Street was a emotional moment. Sending the message to those that are poor that "They are SOMEBODY!"  

Also, there would not have been a President Obama if not for Jesse Jackson.
