And Captain Marvel has three children running around: Genis (Dead), Phyla, and Hulkling. Pretty busy for a dead guy.

What does that have to do with Captain Marvel?

Hulkling's a half-Skrull, the son of Captain Marvel and the Skrull
princess Anelle. He just chose to associate himself with the other
green guy in his heroic identity.

You'd think he'd associate himself with his father in his
heroic identity, that way he could be ... Captain Marvel,
Jr.

Gabe Stacy was in one of the cryogenic tubes or whatever the heck they were during the American Son arc of Amazing Spider-Man. Looks like he's certainly going to be coming back soon.

Looking at that posted cover art, I can't help but wonder if Skarr's left hand has a particular meaning.

X Men Forever where Jean Grey is distraught that her true love, Logan, has died? That's the place to find the real X Men?
Not disputing that it may be better than most of what else they publish, but that isn't my X Men either.

Jean's inexplicable attachment to Wolverine seems like it's going to be a big plot point in the months ahead. Scott has already pointed out in-story that something seems fishy about that, and more than one character is acting strangely at this point.
I'm enjoying the book for the most part, and I'm fairly confident that we'll start getting answers within the next 17 years or so (this *is* a Claremont book, after all).

Michael Huber:
Wolverine died at the end of Issue #1 (He was telepathically linked with Jean at that moment), We saw his skeleton in issue 2, and his death and Murderer in issue 3.
Issue 10 will be the funeral.
Paul Smith & Terry Austin do 2 issues together: #6 & #10

Did Scott do that? I didn't read the book, but the discussion I saw didn't mention that. All I saw was Scott wondering why she'd call Logan the man that she loved, but there was no time to think about it now. I guess they were in a middle of a fight or mission. I didn't see mention of Scott calling anything fishy.
Whatever the explanation is, my money is on Jean really loving Logan. Jean is not being controlled or influenced to say something she doesn't actually mean. Claremont believes that Jean loves Logan. I've seen how Claremont handles Jean/ Logan too often to think otherwise.
I guess we'll have to wait and see.

That's what I was talking about. Scott thought it was really weird that she would think something like that. He didn't come right out and say that she was being manipulated in any way, but his reaction indicated that it was something that came out of left field.

Rest assured, Matt. My last post was indeed heavily laced with satire. Maybe some sarcasm as well. With trace elements of wormwood and bitter vetch. I was in a mood...
