Why are his nails gray (black?)?
It's just an awful drawing.
I also prefer Hulk in his torn pants, but I can live with the trunks JB used. I seem to recall that he wasn't the first one to use them, though. It must have been Sal Buscema who gave him the trunks, in the issues when Banner had taken over.

So.... who IS the Red Hulk? Someone gave me the Red Hulk Trade for Xmas -- for which I haven't quite forgiven them. Though I confess a guilty pleasure in McG's art (likes me the big muscles...), I was distressed that the mystery wasn't answered. Or at least, wasn't answered in a way that I -- a VERY casual reader of the Hulk -- could understand.
I know it's a bit off-topic, but could someone fill me in? Thanks.

I think it's still a mystery. Incidentally, though, Red Hulk was Joe Quesada's idea, as revealed in an interview with Jeph Loeb.

They have dragged out the identity of Red Hulk, semi-promising to reveal it almost every issue...but still no reveal. If it continues to be dragged out, I will assume that even those that care by the time they decide to reveal it will no longer care either.
