I can't wait for my copy to arrive!

I enjoyed the experience of them as they appeared on the forum, and now I am excited for my first comic purchase in quite a while.

Thanks John.

The first thing I thought when I saw the initial sales figures in the article, “The faithful 50,000 still stand!”

That’s impressive JB…. Tens of thousands of purchases for content that could be viewed for free!!

For me, the most curious part of the whole ELSEWHEN adventure was how so many people, right from the start, grumbled about not being able to get the actual issues at their local comic shops.

Rather akin to waking up on Xmas morning and complaining that the presents under the tree did not come with bills!

I'm glad to see the recent reviews focusing on the fact that what you did was one of a kind in the entire world of comics. I don't know of another comics professional out there writing and drawing* a comic completely as fanfic just for fun - let alone 31 of them!!

*Using this space to also note that in terms of drawn comic pages that are written by the same person, you lead that stat by a country mile. Given that you were doing this on at least 2 titles per month for decades, I don't foresee anyone ever unseating you.

**self-edit taking out the word "basically". It's either one of a kind or it isn't! Duh.

I wonder what Neal would have said about the article asserting his work was a big influence on me “as a child”??

I'm not sure how, but some folks are already reporting online that they received theirs this week. Mine still says Tuesday, tho.

I am leaving on a cruise Tuesday, likely before the mail would arrive.

Very poor planning on my part!

Just ordered my copy. Looking forward to reading it! (I never read them as they went up on the forum.)

My copy of Vol. 1 has just arrived from Abrams Books! Pre-ordering has its perks, it seems. What a handsome package -- inks, colors, and paper quality are all top-of-the-line.
