Add me to the Essentials/Showcase lovers club.

Two favorites are the Iron Fist Essential Vol 1, and the Green Lantern Showcase vol 5.

That Iron Fist Essential is the only collection that includes all of JB’s run all
the way to PM/IF 50. Thus, it is the only true and pure IF collection. It will
never leave my library.

Love, love, love the Essentials and the Showcase Presents volumes.  So many great artists to be admired in B&W.  It was Essential X-Men Vol 2 that sucked me in with it picking up where I started reading.  I bought all the Byrne I could; got the Tomb of Dracula volumes (if ever there was one made for B&W); Kirby & Ditko of course; Adams, Buscema.  !!!  

Then the Showcase volumes; Kubert, Heath, Toth, more Adams, Premiani, Swan, Kane.

These all sent down other rabbit holes.  BWS original run in Conan printed in B&W in Conan Saga.  All of Neal Adams 60s-70s Batman work in Titan volumes from the 80s(?).  Totleben Swamp Thing in Titan volumes as well.  I even found a three volume set of Toth, Wrightson, and Adams in Italian.  Can't read it very well, but it's pretty.
