Goodness. Sorry to hear you’re on your way back. Hope this time does the
trick.

Yikes.  Well that's no fun.  And more than a little nervewracking.  Keep your good humor, JB... hoping you're back home soon, for good!

Y’know what’s the worst of it? The pain in my tailbone after three days in bed!!

Similar to a flame about...this high, then?

Have never found a great way around that hospital bed back pain myself.

I have a sinking feeling that this routine is a rest-of-my-life situation.

Hopefully they're giving you at least some info to counter that impression.

I have some bladder prostate issues myself. (And I'm almost a quarter of a century younger.) It is somewhat annoying. Not required surgery yet though. Hope you get the best treatment.

Hospital mattresses are pretty unforgiving. I slept mostly sitting up for the three weeks I was in hospital. It was a dream to get back to my own bed.

I hope you get the comfort your need John.

Thinking about you today. I hope your surgery goes well and that life on the other side is better than you predict. My fingers are toes are crossed.

The surgery has already happened. Twice!

It’s the aftermath that is causing my distress.

Only a massive understatement will do: post-op is unpleasant.
