Especially once it sunk in HOW MANY PEOPLE enabled this. Americans  should've condemned this guy and his cronies after the Jan. 6th insurrection. How he was able to run again will always be a huge injustice in U.S. history... in my opinion.

Trump’s greatest triumph among the voters was in presenting himself like a Chinese menu. Take one from column A, two from column B. So, if his followers don’t agree with everything he espouses, they will be able to select parts, and vote for them.

That's a cogent analysis. It allows his voters to absolve themselves of the things they don't want to get blamed for him doing.
