Dan is right, the Thing needs some color!

I suspected it might just be a resolution thing, Dan. With all my comments, bear in mind I am far from an expert or even a reliable authority, but I would say first it's worth bearing in mind that the art is designed to be reduced for print, so ink accordingly. Second, in terms of interpreting what the penciller has done, there is of course plenty of areas for interpretation (and I say this with direct reference to your comment about wanting him to look up ), but I would try and follow as closely as possible whatever the penciller has done when it comes to the eyes. I don't think that is an area with much (if any) scope for interpretation. That's my two-penneth, but I am not a pro...

Overall, I like both what you and Oliver have done inking the Thing. Some interesting contrast in your styles.

Nice work, but I hope the mock "Fantastic Four" cover doesn't get posted anywhere else out of context in a way that will confuse some as to where that image is actually from.

Thanks for all the feedback Peter, appreciate it, and those are some great colors on your inked Thing, Oliver.

As for the Fantastic Four logo, I placed it into the drawing just to see how it’d look as a cover, I’m not using it for any other purposes.

I'm a bit worried about the use of the cover as well - I know you're using it to see how it looks, but posting to this site opens it up to some confusion.  Dan, would you please remove it and replace with just your work?

Nice work, Darren. A lot of your feathering is getting destroyed by the dpi reduction, but we can see where you are going with the work.
