Dang, now I need to dig out my Alpha Flight Omnibus which has the whole Byrne era - bought it without reading it yet, as prices for these things go through the roof if you don't buy right away which is annoying.  What moron decided reprints would be 'collectors items'.  I just like having giant hardcovers to use when I want to re-read stuff and they look great on a shelf.

Regardless of the 'just 1 more AF character' part I'm going to really enjoy this - even if JB kills them all off (geez I hope not) just as it feels like a high school reunion as I was in middle school, then high school while JB AF came out and the post-Byrne AF never felt right at any point - I view them as an alternate reality version (like I view most of Marvel & DC since I was a kid).

ALPHA FLIGHT is some of my least satisfying (for me) art coupled with some of my most satisfying writing.

It was your own personal corner of the Marvel Universe. You probably could have dropped a nuke on Canada and gotten away with it. There was definitely a feeling that anything could happen to the characters - too bad that later writers took that even further and made practically all of them insane.

So very nice to have this continuing, and your commentsabout Heather's nose, and Alpha Flight where I'm in agreeance, the stories werewonderful (and you were sorely missed from that title).

Also, don't mistake me for unleashing a fanboy wrath here, but I thought you might be interested to know several years before this, inMonsters Unleashed, Wendigo was referred to as "the curse of the N'Garai";-)

The big thing about Kierrok, etc. that intrigued me, and Ihope you get to explore here, is the actual history of the Xavier Estate, notjust Sharon and Brian's coming together, but at what point in the Estate's historyit had previously had N'Garai, and who had previously sealed them off with aCairn! Did it have something to do with the town being called Salem Center, ifyou get my meaning?

You travel down a path, there, that is of no great interest to me—tho in this tale I introduce a twist of sorts that may raise an eyebrow or two.

And then Gillian Anderson happened and she stole Heather's show.
