The first thing most fans will mention about his work is how much he coulod dram into one illustration. And yeas, he was phenomenal at that.
But Perez was also one of those artists who could draw a story that you could follow without any dialog.
I remember seeing his art in 1975 for the first time and how much I loved it then, but he evolved as an artist and his work just got better and better over the years. Most noticable was his improvement in drawing human anatomy and his ability to give each character a distict look. You could tell Steve Rogers from Henry Pym from Clint Barton just from their facial features.
But most important was the joy he had doing it, and the wonderful interactions he had with fans.
