That thread about going back to Marvel created an itch I needed to scratch. I asked myself if I could still pencil for someone else to ink. This was the result.

Can't think of a more perfect bookend comment. This has been a real treat. Thank you.

Very sad to see Elsewhen come to an end.

But in all honesty I thought that Doom was going to pull the James Howlett Wolverine out of an other alternate reality.

Logan vs James Howlett, mano a mano.

I was way off.

Mr Byrne. Thank you for these 32 issues of pure joy and fun.

I never thought I'd appreciated a one page a day comic book but I did and that was part of the whole experience.

It was the return of old friends I hadn't seen for a very very long time.

Echoing the previous sentiments, just a big "Thank you!" for taking the time to do this.

Mr. Byrne, Thank you for giving us the best X-Men stories I've read in years. I've been a fan of the merry mutants since the early 70's, and I'm sure when I say in today's comics they are a pale shadow of who they should be. You have a true love for these characters and it shows in these 32 issues of Elsewhen. JB, your art (storytelling) over the years has only gotten better, a fan of all your work the FF, Hulk, Hidden Years, Doom Patrol, the list goes on, again Thank you.

What's the point of knowing the web-address of John Byrne's site if I don't use it to tell him how incredible I think Elsewhen is?

So, I hope it doesn't seem repetitive to say it, but I really think this series is glorious. Your career is one where the great work is so liberally spread around that I can't see any particular project as "crowning" the others, but I do think that if this is the last one we get-- it is a fitting cap to an outstanding career.

It may not be precisely "full-circle", but in many ways it's close enough to feel the air move as it nearly-misses. I wish every artist your kind of self-determination and success!
