Gorgeous perspective twisting tech!

Doom must be strong to manipulate Nightcrawler so effortlessly.  No one alive does Doom better than Mr. Byrne.  He just gets the villain --- any chance you were ever a European Dictator and Mad Genius before you drew comics, JB?  Is that why they call you Big Bad? :)

Two stunning pages!

JB, for the very narrow (and amazing) panel along the left of the first of today's pages, did you start with perspective lines that went far beyond the panel's edges?  I'm curious about the process.

If you trace the visible grid, you'll see the vanishing point is actually quite close to the edge of the paper. Nothing clever going on here!

Rather nice to see these two pages released together. Love the panel use, vertical on page 5 and horizontal on page 6. Absolutely reflecting your career and artistic abilities, JB.

Truth to tell, of the elements that pushed me into my funk, one big one was the realization that I might have thrown Kurt down TOO deep a hole!

Where there's an elfin teleporter, there's a way!

Doom's lab feels both Kirby tech and Frankenstein gothic. What a perfect melding of two styles of mad science.
