Looking back at that real estate link I posted, I have had the realization that there’s no way I would need that big a house.

Whenever I look at listings, purely for amusement, I keep an eye peeled for the room that says “studio”. But the truth is, once I am done with ELSEWHEN, I will be sliding back into retirement mode. I will have no use for a studio space.

No doubt you’ve earned it, but my heart broke a little upon reading that.

Sorry if I missed it elsewhere, but what are you doing in the studio for the Elsewhen release?

Western canada has a massive issue with homelessness, addiction and mental health supports either not being deployed appropriately or in Alberta and Sask's case, the government believing that the above are a moral failing and people just need to bootstrap. There are no easy solutions for these problems but inability to start at housing first is not helping.

Living in Edmonton gives me perspective that nothing in BC really bothers me as we are often in the top 10 murder cities in Canada. I live adjacent to one of the rough areas of town and drive through it constantly and you just get used to the suffering eventually.

Edmonton sure seems to have changed a lot since I left.

Alberta and Sask's

Old joke: People from Saskatchewan don’t know they are from Saskatchewan. All the mail they receive is addressed “Sask”.

If you say Saskatchewan, they say Gesundheit!

Alberta has changed a lot since you left - nearly 40 years of unbroken Conservative rule has broken the economy and all of the support structures. We are trying to be a wannabe US state only by taking on all the negatives of American society and few of the positives. We are having a separation vote in the fall because our current band of idiots wishes we were Arkansas.

@Dave Poorly right now but 20 years here have taught me Albertans will happily rush over a cliff if they think it will help them keep theirs and fuck everyone else on the way down.

The culture here used to be "Fuck you I got mine". Now it's just "Fuck you"

Well!   I had no idea JB was inking half of it.  If it's possible, I am even MORE excited than I was for this project.
