Hi Mr. Byrne,

First time posting here, longtime enjoyer of your work. My son and I have been building an X-Men collection together for a few years now, centered on the Claremont era, and your run is the backbone of it. We've got most of the Dark Phoenix Saga in the original printings, a few already signed by Mr. Claremont.

A question I've been chewing on and would genuinely like your take on, if you're ever up for it: of everything you drew in that stretch, is there a page or panel you look back on and are still fully happy with, versus stuff you'd redo if you could? Not the famous splash pages people always ask about, just curious what holds up for you personally after all this time.

My son's getting old enough now to really understand what he's holding when he picks up one of these books, and a lot of that is because of the work you did. Hope your recovery is going smoothly.

- Matt
