From one of the online dictionaries:

titchy or tichy  (ˈtɪtʃɪ) Click for IPA pronunciation guide
adj  , titchier , titchiest , tichier , tichiest
slang  ( Brit ) very small; tiny

[C20: from tich  or titch  a small person, from Little Tich,  the stage name of Harry Relph (1867--1928), English actor noted for his small stature]

Didn't realise it is apparently British slang, but given that both creators spent some of their childhood in the U.K., it being used here isn't that unlikely.

Oh, well that explains why I've never heard of it then.

That must be an English thing Bill, we don't use that term here in America.

I don't remember trying to figure out her t-shirt before, but it bears remembering that the days of casually wearing a t-shirt that says "bitch" were still many years to come when that page was drawn. So were the days of comic pros trying to sneak "dirty" words into all-ages comics.

Except for "Flamin'". Man, that Wolverine used to cuss up a blue-streak with everything being "Flamin'" this and "Flamin'" that.

Not so, as I had discovered strolling the streets of NYC a few months earlier.

Keep in mind, tho, that Kitty is from Chicago. Her shirt is the logo of the Illinois Theater Company.

At least, that's what I planned to tell the Code, if anyone asked!

Roger Stern summed it up best. He said Wolverine was the kind of guy who would use F*CK for punctuation, as in "in-f*cking-credible!" whereas Ben Grimm was the kind of guy who would actually SAY "blankety-blank".

I wish that were still the case, I don't like profanity.

So, it WAS "bitch!" Wow. I just figured I was wrong all these years and had no idea what it actually said.

No chance then, that Kitty had interacted with her future self again (but prior to the first time), a future self who had seen the movie 'Hitch', but decided she didn't like Will Smith, but present day Kitty wore the T-Shirt anyway? ;)

Well, of course you would know better than I. After all, I only created her.
