Found a few of my meager attempts at drawing that were scanned into my computer before my scanner went tits-up.

Penciled drawing of the Hulk with hand colored copy.

Darkened scan version of pencil drawing.

A couple of old ones from the 1990s.  At the time, I was already full-swing into the anime and manga influences and began to experiment with some other media after viewing some of the works of the Japanese artists.  First up is this watercolored sketch of Spider-Man's Gwen Stacy, done in 1992...

During the intervening years as I became aware of some of the things that were going on in Marvel's comics, I penciled in this little cartoon commentary during a work break (referring to the Clone saga then sinking its teeth into the Spider-Man books)...

Next comes this piece that was done in Prismacolor markers for a Japanimation convention art show later in 1995 (the second Otakon held at State College, Pennsylvania that same month).  Since I never did sell the piece, I decided to keep it as a better example of some of the work that I did at the time.

Ray, I always liked the thicker stripes on Captain America's uniform.

Carmen--Nice hair highlights on the first Gwen, great attitude on the
second and neat coloring on Lynn too.
