2) the only plan for finding Jean was what you saw in FF. Remember, this whole Jamaica Bay scenario is a retcon.

Thanks, what I was trying to ask was when you started to plan Elsewhen did you know how Jean would be found/revealed? I kind of expected for you to forget the whole Jamaica Bay part and do your own thing.

That was some perfect Namor. He usually does the right thing, but he's never gracious about it. Love this!

That boat interior was gorgeous, too.

I like the glints on the bracelets and fingers on Namor's otherwise silhouetted arm in the middle panel. Can almost feel the eerie power coming from the pod.

And Namor's waspish goodbye is classic.

JB, I like being able to see a glimpse of the initial way you planned to show Namor departing.

Namor's last line is gold - very funny, and oh so Namor!

Interesting to see... and it works to your credit -- another improvement. The comic panel shows a snapshot and therefore the choice of which snapshot to choose is an artistic choice (generally put, we want the zenith of the moment, of course). Your choice of showing a moment after the original moment works much better. We see more of Namor's powers at works. It's more impressive to see how fast and far he is gone in the wink of an eye. And it makes that kiss-off comment kind of funnier. Gives it more zing!

Once again it's the little details: Scott putting a comforting hand on Jean's shoulder and Mrs Grey holding onto her.

Just can't get over this series.

It's a real comic book. At a time like this, when there just ain't a real comic book anywhere. This one is real.
